Bugg of Brettenham

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a chap called Mestrick Bugg, he had a child baptised in Brettenham (Suffolk), with his wife down as Susannah (nee Beats) Bugg.  This was back in 1814.

I'd be interested in any info on him pre this date, and (very speculative) wonder if he any relationship with the Raynham family of the same village.

Good to hear from you.
A marriage on FindMyPast (transcript only - 8 Oct 1806, place Naughton, wife Susannah Beats) has first name as Meshach.
Other baptisms to the pair also show Meshach or Meshick.

The '41 Census confirms born in County, age 60.

He married Susannah Beatts 8.10.1806 at Naughton

Wow!  Thanks, so much info!

Seems he moved around the area a bit over his life time.  Also interesting that he was a apprentice at 20 yo, seems a bit old for those days.  Seems it was a successful stint though as he was described as "miller" by 1814.
