The DANIELS marriage was most sad and unhappy and Ann went to court.
She was expecting a baby too.

Gives some background for Ann.

Have that info.

She married 3 times, but reverted back to Garrard, which is on her tombstone.

Yes back to SS Daphne" - no passenger lists ???

The boy mentioned in that Trove article, was my Dad: Joseph Henry Garrard.

Sad to know what he went through as a 10 year old!!

Ann Freeman married William George Brown on 2 Jan. 1911 in Adelaide.

Have seen and copied my father's service record; he died in 1959 in Adelaide and is buried in the AIF cemetery, West Tce, Adelaide.

Gloria

You should do the same with your uncle's.

Well you seem to have a lot of what we are finding.

However  moving onwards.
As Ann DANIELS, Ann was admitted to Adelaide Hospital with influenza in  1909

The record   shows .
Of Goodwood.   C of E. Aged 45. Widowed. Charwoman.
Ship arrived Daphne.
Years in colony 26.

As has been mentioned  previously. You will need to accept there is not a passenger list available for this ship at this time.

Re: Jane Freeman.

Had some success and found she is buried in the West Terrace cemetery, Adelaide very close to where my father is buried. No headstone or marker on site.

Now to find John Freeman's burial site and death particulars !
