I'm looking for information on the ship 'The Beverly of Glasgow' which ran between America and presumably Glasgow in the 1700s.

There are mentions of this vessel on the British Newspapers Archive. For example, the Caledonian Mercury of 6th October 1759 says, under “list of shipping”:

“Sept 19th Sailed from Stromness, the Johnston of and for New York, M’Connel,from Amsterdam, the Jean of Bruntisland, Ritchie for Carolina and the Beverly of and for Glasgow, Montgomery, from Longsound in Norway.”

There will likely be other mentions if you look for them.
