May I suggest that you search via another direction and check what happened to Margaret Thelma Jones.
If you can find her and her William's Children, you MIGHT be able to check via the Kids what happened to William Henderson.

I am not a member of Find My Past however I did a check and found this, maybe it is Margarets birth.

If it is then a search of
https://www.centennialpark.org/memorial-search-list/harold-edgar-jones-58504/
reveals that Harold Edgar Jones died 20.5.1987 and his wife Margaret 21.7.1969.

Should you locate a death/ funeral notice for Harold and or Margaret, you might be luckly and find a reference to Margaret Thelma. I am thinking that she may have remarried, then you could find her death notices, the kids names and continue the search that way.

Cass

Ps just found this in the Saville Index, there is a notice for Harold in the Adelaide Advertiser. If you email the SA Library, you might be lucky to get a copy of his notice,

There is no registered birth for William James Henderson in W A in 1915.
Nor William James Quirk.

His mother's ( Mary Quirk) address (as NOK) changes with in the scope of the WW2 service record from Hurtle Square, Adelaide to Mingenew WA.

Then NOK changes to wife Margaret Thelma in Salisbury S. Aust. She was born 1921 registered at Morphett Vale

Margaret's father was Harold Edgar Jones, a carrier who lived in Salisbury and Kangarilla.  There are items in the Trove Newspaer Archive relatiing to his bankruptcy. By the time of his discharge in bankruptcy in 1941, he was an enlisted man. You can see his record. https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/ He died in 1987
Margaret's mother was Margaret MacKay
There was at least one son to this couple , a brother to  Margaret named Kenneth Roy who died in 1951.

Although none of this information is helpful in your search,it might might be good to have for your records.

ADDING.I  have inadvertantly doubled up on some infromation from Cass in the above post. Apologies.

Hi sorry I don't understand

"chronicle only goes up to 1959"

this is the entry I was talking about for Harold Edgar in the Advertiser

Gerald A. Savill Index of The Advertiser Funeral Notices
Jones      Harold Edgar      22-May-1987
