I think the 1918 and 1905 marriages are the same woman. Perhaps she mis-remembered the mother's maiden name in 1905.

You're right. I have tried all sorts of combinations on FreeBMD and the GRO with Richard O Jones and Mary Marie Maria Robb******** as parents with no luck.

That May still seems to be with the family in 1901 and 1911.  They all have common names, but Richard is a wholesale drapery buyer in 1901 & 1911 and a salesman for a home warehouse in 1891, so that seems to support that it's the same guy in all.  It's possible that May/Anna May travelled back and forth to the US during that time, but maybe it's a different family.

Thanks for your input on this. I am thinking that this isn't our family as I suspect they didn't have the means to travel between the U.S. and England.
The "mother's maiden name" on Anna May's 2nd marriage record is impossible to read unfortunately. I think that would help us.

I am thinking it would be really helpful to find emigration/immigration records for Anna May Jones and her family. Census records state her year of arrival in the U.S. to be 1889 or 1890. They likely came through Ellis Island and Anna May didn't get out of New York.
