John Charles Heffernan

Came across a reply to a post last night from a member Bridget B. Orginal Post/reply was from 2006.
It read Hi im wondering if my boyfriend is a descendant of this Heffernan?
He knows nothing of his family history. We live in Western Australia. His grandfather John Charles Heffernan was born 1907 and his father has the same name. Bretts middle name is Charles too. Are the same names just a coincidence?
The original post was linked to a member by the name Helen. Ive tried to find Bridget B but ive had no luck. I can help Bridget , please help me if you can. Thanks

There is a large Family Tree on Ancestry that seems well researched.

Going back they have the 1st Heffernan in Australia as MICHAEL 1808-1873 but no Parents for him.

I looked at Victorian BMD indexes and found;

Michael Death Reg 1873, Reg No2878/1873
Mother Martha MALONEY
Father John HEFFERNAN
Wife BARRY, Elizabeth
Age 65
Birth Ireland

 regarding Bridget's original post we believe we know of a sibling of Brett's, also she lives in Western Australia.
Finding that post was a surprise for us.

From memory yes garsonite that is her with the same parents on the Tree
