Searching for Information RE: publican "Bumper" Holt

I am searching for the proper given name of "Bumper Holt" (and name of his wife)who supposedly operated a Pub in Liverpool and first name of his daughter who married a Grimshaw.   Time  frame:  1st quarter of 20th century as he had a grandson born in 1934 with the surname Grimshaw.  I understand his daughter's family resided in the Merseyside district.

Was Holt the correct surname do you know? 

You can check for Holt/Grimshaw marriages on Free BMD index.  If correct that will give you her first name to look for her birth to locate her parents names.

There was a Clara Holt born 1908 with parents Robert & Susannah.  Robert could be your man. 

He married Susannah Taylor in 1896.  Father John Holt a gardener.
