Help in deciphering a workhouse record
« on: Sunday 12 May 24 22:15 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anyone could please help in deciphering a 1827 Camberwell workhouse entry for John Andrew Carroll. My g g grandfather

I can decipher some of it and any help is appreciated.
I know it says
Carroll John Andres and Mary 35/28  Mary 2 yrs and William 2 yrs 4 mos
Harness maker
married at Camberwell Church 6 Aug 1820

Never earned more than 4----------------and then I am afraid I come to a dead end.

Thank you

Jim

Thank you so much

It certainly adds to what I know about him and his family.

Much appreciated.
