Bought my new TV after the other one packed up, delivered today. Was congratulating myself on fixing the stand to it, setting it all up and connecting to WiFi, after which the TV performed two software updates. But now the sound is out of synch.  :-[  Unplugging it doesn't work.

Can anyone help please? It's a Panasonic TV, I don't have anything else attached to it.
(Have tried Google, the suggestions don't apply to my TV)

** The problem seems to have sorted itself out since I posted!  ;D

It was probably the picture that was out of synch.

I've had that on certain recorded programmes, the mouths are out of sync with the words but it corrects itself without me doing anything.

It's doing it again! What on earth is this all about?

At the risk of sounding like an old fogey, I'm beginning to wish we could go back to the days when all technology wasn't so 'smart'.  :(

Without knowing the TV brand and model and/or where the signal is coming from (e.g. Sky, BT, antenna, freeview box, etc.) I suggest going into the settings menu, then sound, advanced, AV sync (or audio delay or something similar) where you should see a slider bar to adjust the signals.

If you let me know the TV brand and model I can probably drill down more into the menus.

Steve.

Thanks Steve, I already looked at that after Googling the problem, the option wasn't there. Have just had an online chat with Panasonic, they told me to restore the factory settings so am in the process of setting up all the channels again and hoping I don't have to jump through a lot of hoops again to connect it to the internet!

Thank you  :)
