is. this my Colin smith
« on: Tuesday 14 May 24 22:10 BST (UK) »
I've seen that a reverend. Colin Arthur smith of Bridgend, born. January 1955, is already dead.

I've got someone of the. same. full name, born in the same month. and years with welsh connections, but have assumed he was. still alive.

if anyone knows anything about the Revd smith...where he went to university, etc, please let me know....as far as I know, my Colin smith. was destined. for a career in the law.

for obvious reasons, please don't give any information about Colin Arthur smiths. you may. know who are still alive....thanks

If you look at FreeBMD, there are 3 Colin A SMITHs born in Mar qtr 1955 (and 7 without a middle initial).

Also this one, looks like the same person Comberton linked to:

thanks...impossible to say.

I don't want. to be accused of pursuing living people, so the best thing would be if someone who knew the Revd smith in Bridgend could tell me something about him.

my Colin smith is on the outer shores of my family and all I remember was that he was. going to study law and where he was going to do it.

a religious vocation is something people often take up. later than most careers, so that complicates matters

I can’t see the death so don’t know when it was.
You could try contacting a local paper to see if there is an obituary.

Your opening post says you have seen that a Rev etc etc is deceased.

Where did you see that info?  What year & location was the death?
