thank you so much to both of you stalwarts!
I have spent my limited time in trying to make some connections with the many BECKWITH branches in Jarrow with many time consuming complications including the SPEER family mis-transcribed as ANDERSON on the 1891 census!

In the process of extending the marriages and children of these BECKWITH and SPEERS families I listed a marriage of Ernest John HILL 1886-1924 and Henrietta Henrietta Spears / Speers.

MADDY mentions this couple in Cardiff on the 1911 census along with 2 'visitors' one of which is a Viva SPEERS, however her dates and birthplace may be spurious or just incorrectly completed and do not match my original target.   She is listed here as married with children as is the other visitor Lydia

By 1939 Henrietta has not yet re-married after the deaths of husband Ernest in 1924 and her only son Cyril William HILL 1915-1920 but I have yet to identify her death.

Henrietta's brother Robert Beckwith SPEERS, might be a father to the target Viva Beckwith SPEERS.

What even happened to Fanny Viva SPEERS after 1911 and can her mother be identified?
[I do not have the  1921 Census.]

This might her in a messy or inaccurate 1911 WALES Census entry listed as a grand-daughter of a William and wife Fanny SPEERS.

As this child was not born in either Jarrow or Cardiff, I speculate that she might be an illegitimate child of a daughter who might have been sent away to LEOMINSTER from home for the confinement.

Looks like she's with the same Speers family in 1921. Living in Cardiff. Her name is Viva on the census return. However, FindMyPast have transcribed it as "Pierce". 
Born 1908 in Leominster.

There's also another granddaughter with them. Adela Kathleen Speers, born 1912 in Cardiff.

Fanny Viva Speers was born 24th May 1908 at 45, Etnam Street, Leominster. Her father was recorded as William Beckwith Speers-occ- Mechanical Engineer, mother Gertrude Viva Speers formerly Daniel of 50, Catherine Street, Hereford. Gertrude registered the birth.
