Maternity Home in Smith Street, Charlestown, NSW

I am looking for information about a Maternity Home (ordinary house) that was run by I believe two sisters in Smith Street, Charlestown. Was there a local paper that may have reported this place? I would love to know who started it and for how long it ran.  Any suggestions or help would be really appreciated.

Acacia Private Hospital seems to have also been on the Pacific Hwy:

No luck so far unfortunately. Do you have any other details? Any births at the Home that may have a birth notice?

CaroleW, The time frame would be. around 1955.  I believe three sisters named Patterson worked there.
