Dell Road, Inverness * I can't figure out how to delete this post *

I'm sure I have asked this question before, but even after trawling through all my posts, I cannot find it.
Remembering my childhood, my mother used to take me to visit a lady called Delia Maclennan in Dell Road - it could have been sometime between 1958 and 1966.
Was she a family member, or just a family friend?
Back in those days, as kids we called everyone Aunty or Uncle.
If anyone can help, I shall be very, very grateful.

How would we know whether she was a friend or a relative as we have no knowledge of your FH?

Have you looked for her on Scotlands People to establish her marital status/ maiden name/ parents etc which will help you determine which applies

Marriage 1904 on SP Giulia Chierroni/Nicola Giubbarelli (wonder if that should be Nicolas??)

Guilia died 1937 aged 54 - Inverness

EDIT  - 1901 for Lanarkshire shows him as Nicola b 1876 Italy - occ confectioner

Death 1928 as Nicola Guibarelli in Shotts aged 52

You don't really need to delete it.  Using the info I have posted should enable you to determine whether there was a biological link or just a friend etc.  Suspect it's more likely to be Donald McLennan if there was a biological link.

2017 - Donald Gerard aged 84 - Inverness

2009 Giulia - also Williamson - aged 75 - Kirkcaldy

Marriage 1955 James Corson Williamson/Giulia MacLennan
