Regarding death of John Lindsay
This one seems most likely, due to location, although age is a little out.

Delighted to "open up" this morning and find so much information posted.   Thank you.  I'm very grateful.

Now to the interesting part of creating a picture from all these details.

Afterthought:   Your posts add a lot of credence to the old saying "You can't see the wood for the trees".   Very often true in my case ;D
