There's a William Arthur Plumb b January 1923 who died in 1984 - address Whitley Bay, Tyne & Wear, but death looks to have been registered in Bolton. So if he's the right one, they divorced, or she never married Mr Brown

Fairly sure now he's correct - matching birth in 1923 with mmn Seeley. Marriage in 1922 of Henry C Plumb to Lily Seeley - matches father on the marriage registration

I do know that Margaret married William Arthur Plumb on 31st Jan 1944. William went onto marry Audrey Carruthers in 1947.

Then that's when Margaret went to Egypt.

Have you considered ordering the overseas gro record to establish Norman B Brown's 2nd christian name and if recorded that of his father.

Also check if Norman was from originally Belfast (as per the address on the Passenger manifest). He might have relocated there, with Margaret.  See Reply #4.

Margaret's father recorded on her birth registration is named as Alexander Loraine Glover.

In 1939 there is a Loraine A Glover - Male/Married) --occupation Muscian, although year is out by exactly 10 years.

Our Alexander Hampton Glover was born 30.06.1894--coincidental?

I've not had chance to speak to my grandad yet but ages ago he mentioned Loraine to me thinking it was Margaret's middle name but he could be getting confused with her dad.

hhm that is strange. I've not been able to find anything else at all for any of them.
