William Walsh, tailor, of Bruree, married a Mary Craghan in 1884. Looks like that isn't your man

Thank you Shaun.
I was only offering that death as it fitted with the approximate date of death and the occupation on Henry’s marriage. That is, of course, presuming that the marriage is correct also.
I have looked at census for Bruree where there are Walsh entries but no Hanora/Ann/Annie for a widow. You have now explained that.

I wrote earlier that it is a puzzle.
There is Courtney in the marriage but McCarthy on the birth record.

‘One record’ has ‘William Edward’ but which record is that?

I wonder if the military record would give marriage details? They often do.

I haven't been able to find a military record for him. Could be that he died in service or was discharged without a pension, in which case his service records are unlikely to have survived.

Yes, think this is definitely him - family say he was a tailor and that he died 1895/6/7.

Ignore my last post….have just looked again at the marriage record for a William Walsh, tailor of Buree provided by SeanJ. So don’t think that death fir William W in 1894 is correct.

It would be great if we could find Henry/Harry  in 1901 and 1911 - before his marriage.
Is that definitely him in 1921 - marriage to Mary Ryan? His residence there is Castlefarm and he is a labourer. He may have just moved around for work so difficult to trace.

Yes, agree…..I’ve been looking, but nothing stands out so far.
Thanks for ongoing help.
