Lambe Family Drogheda
« on: Monday 01 July 24 21:27 BST (UK) »
I need some help finding info on my great-great-great-grandparents
They are Patrick Lambe (Mar 1844 - Feb 5 1910) & Mary Lambe (nee Branagan) (Aug 1838 - Apr 18 1891)
They both got married on Feb 20 1876 in Drogheda, and had a son James Lambe (Dec 27 1878 - Jan 12 1942) he married Marcella Lambe (born McDonnell) (Mar 2 1875 - Nov 15 1931).

I am trying to find out if Patrick Lambe & Mary Lambe (nee Branagan) had any other children and who Patrick Lambe parents where and if he had any brothers or sisters and if they had children.

If anyone can help in any way

Family Search has a section called Irish Births and Baptism which covers many, not all, births 1864 (start of registration) to c1881.
Mary Margaret born 1877- can't see Mary's birth registration at the moment-

James born 1878-

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Here is Patrick Lambe’s death - 5th February 1910, as you say.
His address is Kelly Lane.

1901 census - Kelly Lane has this Patrick Lambe. Could that be him - 3 children with him.

In 1911, Philip is recorded as Catherine’s son.

In 1911, Philip is recorded as Catherine’s son.

Phillip Lambe born 20 March 1890 in the Workhouse, Drogheda. His mother Kate (Catherine).

I don't think the Patrick Lambe of the 1901 census eho lives in Kelly Lane is the same Patrick Lambe as Kate Lambe (daughter) age is given as 30 meaning she was born about 1871 which was 5 years before Patrick Lambe & Mary Lambe (nee Branagan) were married.
Unless it was a mistake made on the census.

The two deaths you posted are both Kelly Lane with the same dates.
I posted Patrick’s earlier and here is Mary for the same residence.

Do you have the right deaths?

Yes deaths are right then it must be that Kate Lambe is not Patrick Lambe daughter but was listed on the census. She could be his nice but was listed on the 1901 census as his daughter by mistake

I can’t see a birth for her but there are no obvious civil births for the two children whose baptisms you have from aghadowey.
I can’t see Agnes’ birth either.

Added
Agnes’ death - informant, Phillip Lambe, brother
