Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Pvt Henry Gibson Craig - Black Watch Royal Highlanders - died 5/11/1918 - buried Woodside Cemetery. Paisley. Service No. 315084 - He died aged 25.

Henry Gibson Craig was the son of Henrietta Gibson Craig, of 18 West Campbell Street, Paisley, and the late Allan Craig


The private memorial marking the grave of Pvt Craig no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone.

Brother Robert Craig (27 years old)  married York Ontario to Jean McCreary Harvey 26 years old
25 th February 1925 - parents listed as Allan Craig and Henrietta Gibson.

N.B. Allan Craig has passed 12 March 1916. Paisley Scotland.

Robert Alexander Craig died 21 April 1942 - 511 Church Street Toronto.
