Daniel Cunningham
« on: Wednesday 10 July 24 21:03 BST (UK) »
Hi , I'm trying to track down some information regarding Daniel Cunningham and family. I think he was born 22/01/1830 to John Cunningham and Mary Driscoll in Dromore or Banbridge. He married a Elizabeth McConville on 18/02/1851. As far as I know they had several children one of whom was a Hugh Cunningham.  Hugh went onto marry an Annie Glen. All I know about Annie is that she and Hugh married 1/10/1888 at St. Michael's Parkhead Glasgow. Ive tried several search engines but I'm unable to get any more information on Annie and her parents, and where they originated from.  As far as I know Annie's parents were Patrick Glenn and Mary McCallum. Any help would be much appreciated.

Marriage 1851 - Banbridge Registrar's Office (so likely a mixed marriage). Father John Cunningham a farmer, father Bernard McConville a weaver.

Annie’s marriage certificate should contain her parents details, her father’s occupation and whether her parents were alive or not, at that date. You can view that certificate on the Scotlandspeople site. Marriage registered in Camlachie GROS ref 644/2/231.

There was a previous post on this family Monica posted a clipping from the marriage 1888
The parents of Annie Glen were Patrick Glen and Mary Healy ( not McCallum).
The death index for Annie Glen other name Cunningham 1930 Camlachie mothers maiden name Healy

Thank you all for your help. Sorry it wasn't until after I posted that I saw Monica's reply. However I couldn't find my original question.  Its Annie Glen I'm having issue with. I have her marriage certificate which states her parent's were Patrick Glen and Mary Healy, but can find no further information on her parents or siblings.

Did you check out the death for Helen Glen 1907 Camlachie mothers maiden name
Healy as mentioned to see if same parents were mentioned ?

Do you have the 1911 census for Annie Cunningham to see if it mentions birth place in Ireland which might help with finding her birth ?

No further advanced finding the mother of Annie Glen looking back on your other post Monica mentioned possible family on the 1881 Census in Dumbarton with a James Glen

Checking back on James Glen on the 1871 census  in Cardross I noticed a Dennis Quigley there born about 1855 Ireland

There is a death for a Dennis Quigley 1875 Cardross mothers maiden name Halley ?
I think it might be worthwhile viewing the death to see what it says
