1884 Marriage in Workington, Cumberland

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone can help me locate an 1884 wedding certificate in Workington, Cumberland. I found it in the birth certificate of my great grandmother who was born in Lugar, Ayrshire, Scotland.

I have searched Ancestry and MyHeritage and had no luck, here are the details and the screengrab from the birth cert.

A possibility in Cockermouth RD in 4Q 1883 (per FreeBMD):

A lot of trees on Ancestry have the marriage as 31st December 1883, as Robertson, and one as Robinson on 1st January 1884.

P.S. A note from one tree: "They actually married on 31st December 1883, although the marriage says 1st January 1884."

Workington was one of the constituent Civil Parishes in the Cockermouth Registration District.

I can't seem to find the tree with that note when I search for Margaret Robertson on Ancestry, is there any way to share this with me?

I'm new to researching records in England is UKBMD the best place to look for records? Do you have to order from there to view them?

Also: Any idea why there would be a mixup in marriage dates?
