It wasn't unusual for children to be Baptised on the same day.
This was usually at the prompting of the local Vicar.

Found sibling David Tadloo b. 1801 (one of the children Bapt. in 1805)
D. 1869. He was butcher & lived in Stepney. (Diamond Row)
Married Maria Venfield in 1826 Bermondsey.
Also brother Joseph b. 1799 a scale maker employer.
Married Mary J Champion 1828 Bishopgate.
He had a son Alfred Fisk Tadloo, Fisk being his mother's maiden name as per
Emeltom's info.
Possibly another, James b. 1805 appears in 1861 as a butcher. Born Essex.
1843 marriage states a butcher & father Thomas (deceased) farmer.

Ooh thank you. I'll have a look at him too.

Meant to look at the siblings but fell down a rabbit hole of trying to trace Grace after her husband died in the hopes subsequent censuses might give info to cross check about where she was born, but she vanishes after 1851. I guess the likeliest thing to assume is she remarried after her husband dies in 1853. Ah well!

FreeBMD doesn't show her marrying.
Maybe she just co-habited.

Thanks for everyone's help on this, i really appreciate it. I found Grace's death, of all things, in 1846 which is why I couldn't find her. The 1851 census was a red herring because her husband had put initials only and it was him that had married again (then dying 2 years after) when id thought she had.  What a sad story! So much TB!

All your help with the siblings was great though because it led me to a farmhouse actually called Tadlow (after the Tadloos) in Uxbridge who rented the house for decades. It's still there and lovely to find an existing connection.

Well done. Sometimes our ancestors conspire against us.
As an aside she died in 1845 age 46 which adds a bit more
weight to her being the Upminster Grace Tadloo.

Fingers crossed, I can't find a hint of another Grace Tadoo at that time.

Beginners question if ok? - is it common to find a death record (in 1845 ) but no burial records? I was curious to know where Grace was buried in Southwark but though there seem to be records generally, she's still elusive! Nothing comes up in a search.
