Trying to find Ellen Hender b 1847 Plymouth

I have a query regarding an ancestor Ellen Hender b 1847 Plymouth who is an enigma . On the Ancestry website Ellen was a g g aunt whose Parents where Thomas Hender b 1808 stretton devon and a mary ashton hender b 1808 welcombe devon. On some websites it says Ellen Married a james Toms of devon.. but i have doubts here . So if anyone could assist me in the search i would be grateful thanks .

Was her father a Watchmaker?

The marriage to James Toms lists her father as Thomas Hender, Watchmaker

If I have the correct family Ellen is with them on the 1852 Census but missing on the 1861 census

That is the address the family are at in 1851 ,so it does look like her.

Well done everyone , looks like you have nailed it . On the 1851 census Thomas Hender Head b 1808 has his Wife Mary , dau Eliz , Son John and Ellen aged 3 but after that she dissappears off the census's . So looks like she died . I have been mixing my Ellen with the Ellen that married James toms .. so must alter my f tree on Ancestry . Thanks everyone for this help.
