Can anyone link these gravestones.

I was wandering around an old Cemetery in Llanelltyd just outside Dolgellau and spotted a gravestone.
It's in Welsh.  Roughly translated Jane Owen , formerly of Hafod, Dyffryn Addudwy
Died 27 March 190 ? 1901 aged 42. Spouse of John Owen Bontddu.  Nothing about him on the gravestone.
Also son Robert Thomas buried in Ponoka Alberta,  Died 14 January 1956 aged 76.

Presumably Jane was a Thomas before she was an Owen,  Who was Robert Thomas's father.

Just wondering if there is anything out there with more information on the family
As yet Ive not found much. Thanks.

I would read it as the son's full name is Robert Thomas Owen
Many gravestones just have the forenames of children when parents names are in full higher up
Wainwright - Yorkshire
Whitney - Herefordshire
Watson -  Northamptonshire
Trant - Yorkshire
Helps - all
Needham - Derbyshire
Waterhouse - Derbyshire
Northing - all

I thought that,  but as yet can't find him with the full name.
The gravestone dates are very convincing though.🤔
