Help with lunatic asylum treatment records

Hello,

Please could anyone assist deciphering the below. They concern treatment/medicines used on a patient in various asylums in Scotland. I can make out quinine in both images but I don't have a clue about the rest.

first one: 30 grams of Sulphonal at bedtime
