Marriage was 1873

Have you checked GRO online for any births after 1881?

Have you looked for the children shown in 1881 on the 1891 census?

Have you checked freebmd for a death for her?

Have you checked for a death for William & possible remarriage for Harriet between 1881-1891?

William & children are easily found in 1891 & 1901 - he is shown as married.  She could be in an asylum

Check the 1911 entry for William.  Still shown as married  but widowed Housekeeper also called Turner.  He died 1911 & left a will - downloading a copy may give some answers

Suspect she may be on the 1939 register b 1852 death 1941.  Would suggest you check the 1921 census just in case it’s not the same person

Hi I have checked what I could

Free bmd was down most of yesterday and when I checked earlier

And she wasn't living with their children in 1912 ??

I think William Turner died 1911 Dec qtr ??

I couldn't find her in the 1939 register

I haven't got access to the 1921 census

So stuck now 😕 😪 😑

freebmd is having problems with post 1900 records - seems as though it may be a while before it's sorted

See reply 3 re William - his will can be downloaded for £1.50

Can't understand why you can't find the 1939 entry - she's the only match.  I searched as follows
Har*t Turner
Birthdate 1853 +- 1yr
Living in Sussex

Re 1921 - check if your local library has free FindMyPast access.  RC does not allow 1921 details other than what's on the free index.  I only use Ancestry
