Where have you seen Elizabeth referred to as the "Peerage lady" - a very strange term - and heiress to an estate in Bodmin? Is it anywhere else besides the reference given by Shaun?

Ancestry.Member stories.  It was put on by a different person to the one Shaun found , but has been copied by others, this is why I would like to confirm it.

I checked the records myself to make sure the details of the marriages and births of base children were correct.

Family folk-lore relates that Mr. Prewett and a Mr. Biddle fought a duel in Bristol, the reason and the outcome both unknown. However, after Mr. Prewett's death in 1784, Elizabeth married mr. Biddle on 20 Jan 1788. No reports of a a duel were found in "Felix Farley's Bristol Journal", a Bristol weekly over this period.

Elizabeth Yeo was known as "The Peerage Lady" in the family because she was advertised for, as heiress to an estate in Bodmin, Cornwall, reputed to include a castles but locked up in Chancery.

On 19 Jul 1787, a child was born to Elizabeth Prewett and on 02 Sep 1787, he was baptized at Th;ornbury, being named Luke Biddle Puett, no father being shown.
