There is a will from 1824 for Mark Biddle, naming brothers-in-law named Prewett which suggests that Elizabeth was a spinster when she married him. His first wife was also called Elizabeth, she was the mother of Mark, Frederick, Ernest & Moses.
HIs first wife was also named Elizabeth Prewett, marriage 20 Jan 1788 in Thornbury, Glos, Mark made his mark & Elizabeth signed. Nothing in register to say she is a widow, witnesses Thomas Hendy & Daniel Pitcher.
