« on: Tuesday 05 November 24 19:21 GMT (UK) »
While researching this Biddle family I have found this information about the Peerage
I have tried to confirm it but don`t know where to start. Could anyone help please

Elizabeth Yeo born 1752 died 1800
Elizabeth was known as The Peerage lady as she was advertised as heiress to an estate in Bodmin Cornwall
She Married first Thomas Prewett 1744 then married a Mark Biddle 1787.

you can check Cornwall records here

https://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/search-database/person-search/

However, not seeing either marriage there. There is a marriage 13 Jan 1801 at St Peter's Bristol of Mark Biddle & Elizabeth Pruett

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XT3Y-X3F

both made their mark instead of signing the register

There is a will from 1824 for Mark Biddle, naming brothers-in-law named Prewett which suggests that Elizabeth was a spinster when she married him. His first wife was also called Elizabeth, she was the mother of Mark, Frederick, Ernest & Moses.

HIs first wife was also named Elizabeth Prewett, marriage 20 Jan 1788 in Thornbury, Glos, Mark made his mark & Elizabeth signed. Nothing in register to say she is a widow, witnesses Thomas Hendy & Daniel Pitcher.

first wife Elizabeth buried in Thornbury 30 March 1800 age 48, abode Oldbury (on Severn)

If she was born Yeo, possible baptism at Thornbury 8 March 1751-2, Elizabeth daughter of William & Sarah Yeo of Nibley.

Thank you,  I have details of Elizabeth Yeo. She married Thomas Pruett and among her children was daughter Elizabeth.
After Thomas Pruett died she had a son by Mark Biddle.
While Elizabeth Yeo/ Pruett / Biddle was still alive her daughter Elizabeth Pruett had a son by her step father Mark Biddle. 😯
After Elizabeth Biddle died Mark married his stepdaughter Elizabeth Pruett.

When Mark died Elizabeth Biddle married a William Luce who was much younger.
There was a family story written by someone else about a duel between Thomas Pruett  and Mark Biddle but it's not totally correct,  but given Marks track record I wouldn't be surprised , perhaps he was involved with Elizabeth Pruett while Thomas was alive.

It's the story about The Peerage I am trying to find if it's true or not.

The banns on Ancestry state Elizabeth Pruett is a widow.
