Alfred Owen - no death record in Glamorgan

Perhaps it is just me but I cannot find a death record for the following relative.

Alfred Owen born May 1860 (he is 61 and one month on the 1921 census) in Little Newcastle Pemb
and living with wife Jane at 9 Sion Terrace Aberdare. Son David, Alfred daughters Harriet Ann and Edith Owen.

I believe he was still alive after 1925.  Jane's death is hard to track as her age varies but she is stated to be 61 and 6 months in 1921 but in reality she was born in 1857 but lowers her age by 3 years when she married.  She was dead before the late 30's.

However despite searching everywhere I cannot find any evidence of his death or burial?  I would be greatful for any  help.

That's brilliant.  Without doubt that's him.  It contradicts what I was told about being alive after 1926 but that just goes to prove memories can be unrelaible.

Thank you so much.  That is very interesting as I knew Harriet Annie Owen b.1899 was a school teacher from the 1911 census,  I was told that there may have been more than one school teacher in the family but have been unable to find evidence to prove that.  There was a second married sister Lizzie b.1891 (she is married to Evan Thomas and is Idrisyn Thomas' mother who is mentioned above attending the funeral).

The 3rd sister was Edith b.1905.  She was a serious churchgoer and appears in several newspaper articles about her faith.  She is the second school teacher.

I did note the 2 different ages. She was in fact 75 as I have her birth certificate with a date of 23/12/1857.
