The birth of Hans Christian Hanson Ironwood, Michigan

Hello there,

I am searching for the birth certificate of Hans Christian Hanson (aka Carl). I found his death certificate, and he died on June 15th 1898 in Ironwood, Michigan. According to the death certificate, he died at five months of age (born approx. January 1898). His parents were Hans Christian Hanson Sr. (from Denmark) and Frederica Swandlund (from Finland).

I did locate a birth certificate for a Hans Hanson (attached) born January 1st, 1895. I don't think this is the Hans I have mentioned above. I know Hans (aka Carl) did have a brother named Hans Gustaf Hanson (aka Gustaf) born April 20th 1895 and was baptised in May. It would appear, though, that the Hans Hanson in the birth certificate is connected somehow?

I would say it is the right baby, as the address on the death certificate matches the 1900 census for the parents.

I think there was an error/miscommunication in entering the "5" in the months column.
