Trying to Research The Carley/Fallon lot My ggrandfather John Carley was Born circa 1845 but havent found his Birth   He was on 1851 Census with his parentsand sister in Birmingham Warwickshire  found this on FindMyPast His Parents Were James Carley and Maria Fallon Married in Strokestown Roscommon in 1837
Johns Siblings Maria and Bridgett Both born in Strokestown Roscommon

You need to check your dates in your post.  You say he was b 1845 - but it was 1854 so he couldn't be on the 1851 census in Birmingham.  Part of your post is duplicated

The birth record is on the above site - born 14.4.1854 - use Old Parish Records as Statutory registers do not start until 1855.  Also daughter Mary 1860

If he was born on 14 April 1854 as the index at FindMyPast says, then he cannot possibly be in the 1851 census.

CaroleW is right. You need to go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk, invest in a few credits, and use some of them to view the original baptism there.
