Looking for any information on Arthur Dudley SHOREY, born 25 March 1916, Brazil.  Parents Frederick William Shorey/ Harriet May Shorey.
He married for the second time on 30 June 1956 in the Aliwal Congregational Church, Durban (bride's name not provided as she could still be living).  He was 40yrs of age and his bride 29 years of age.
At the time of his marriage he was living at Umhlanga Rocks, North Coast, Natal.  His occupation was Technical Representative.  His ID number was stated on marriage document.

Arthur Dudley Shorey's grandparents were Frederick William Shorey and Mary Ann Elizabeth Lancaster.  Frederick was an Engineer.  He died in 1938 St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex and Mary died in 1927 in Hastings, Sussex.  They had 4 children; Elizabeth b 1873 W.Ham (haven't found anything further on her), Frederick William b 1876 W.Ham, Alexander Dudley b 1877 W.Ham [in 1939 Register he is a Fruit Grower in Cyprus] and Elsie Gordon b 1887 W.Ham - she died in 1889 age 2.

This website used to allow you to search for a gravestone by name. It was recently upgraded, however if you do not know which cemetery the person is buried in it will be difficult to find. We know Arthur died in Kawzulu Natal circa 1956. You can try searching the Natal cemeteries here https://graves.eggsa.org/
