Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Flight Lieutenant Ronald George Newton - Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.  Died 27/10/1945 buried Alperton Cemetery. Wembley.

The private memorial no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone.

Flight Lieutenant Newton was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident: he hit a car at the junction of Vicarage road and Great West Road in Hounslow. He died of the injuries he had sustained in Hounslow Hospital. His mother was also injured n the accident.

Son of James and Elsie Lavinia Elizabeth Newton; husband of Evelyn Betty Newton of Hounslow West, England.
