Death Edward Johnston July 20, 1922, Olympia, Thurston, Washington, USA

I have the death certificate for Edward Johnston who died July 20, 1922 in Olympia, Washington, USA. He was born in Paisley, Scotland and his parents were Edward Johnston and Mary aka Bridget Degnan/Deignan. After his wife Helen/Ellen Pugh Andrew died Apr 3, 1914 in Paisley, Edward went to Washington where his daughter Mary Garvin Anderson nee Johnston lived.
I am hoping his obit, if he has one, would mention whether his brother Thomas is still alive in 1922. Thomas disappeared after the 1901 Scotland census and was believed to be deceased before 1908 but there is no record found in that regard.

There was a family of Johnston - arriving Boston 22 April 1923 on the Cameronia from Paisley.

Thomas was born Sept 3, 1863 in Paisley, married Margaret Crawford Jan 17, 1884 in Paisley. They are on the 1901 census in Scotland before Margaret and children emigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1903 but Thomas is not seen again.
Margaret returned to Scotland in 1908, divorced Thomas, remarried to William Hannah before dying in 1910 in Paisley. I don't know if one has to return to Scotland to be divorced if married there previously. At the time of divorce in 1908, Margaret thought Thomas had been in a Sailor's Home in Wales but was possibly deceased.
I have just seen your info about Thomas who went to Rhode Island. He is a son to the aforementioned Edward who died 1922 in Washington. thank you for Thomas' emigration info and the birth dates of the sons. I have this Thomas married to Esther Fraser Henry and that they had 2 sons. I see emigration info has wife as Elizabeth who is probably the same person as Esther.  Thomas' uncle could be James Andrew since his mother was Helen/Ellen Andrew. I will look for marriage info for Thomas. Will also look for brother-in-law Charles Murphy. I am thinking Charles Henry is his friend in Rhode Island.

I have unverified death info for Thomas as Feb 21, 1953 in Rhode Island and he was a grocer.
