Hutcherson/Hutchinson

I’m not sure if you plan to take the Hutchinson line back to earlier generations, but if so, do take care with changing and various versions of the surname which can make things challenging.
There are quite a lot of trees on Ancestry which have gone totally off track (to Northhamptonshire!  ) which of course makes no sense. Be wary about following them. The family were very clearly from Norfolk.
Hopefully the following may help others looking at the same family.


Census shows Lydia GROOM born in Little Snoring, age 24 when married. Daughter of Thomas Groom a butcher.

Lydia is with parents in 1841 census in Little Walsingham.
