Hi
Where do find evidence of a tombstone?

Inscriptions in the Church yard and Crypt of St Clements's Church, and in the Croft Chapel and Burial Ground, Hastings by A. Ridley Bax.

You are looking - in several different posts - for a Thomas Hutchinson who "married Sarah Browne fron Dicker in Arlington in 1731. He is "sojourner" and lived in Hooe."

Thomas may of course have been born outside of Sussex. No doubt there are other possible reasons that you can't find a spare one for your tree.

You could also be a bit more creative in your search, though it may not lead anywhere of course.
Spelling of surnames was variable, and sometimes names mutated. So try looking for Hutchin/Hutchins as well as Hutchinson.
Slightly more extreme example -
Tho Hunchin, son of Wm, baptised 20 November 1707, Eastbourne.
https://www.sussex-opc.org/index.php?p=296&n=hunchin&t=baptism&k=177975&l=102

Not saying it's your guy, only that it's another avenue to explore.
