First word is “evangelical” so it looks like it might have some religious significance.
Having said that, the way the label is stuck in with text cut off, it doesn’t look like that box originally had that label in - not as it is placed now, at least.
The little pockets obviously must be clues, but I can’t hazard a guess as to it’s original use.
Do the stamped initials DC or DG mean anything to you?
