I've got John's death certificate and it has his brother Peter O'Grady as the witness and in attendance at his death. The census also says he was also born in Ireland and was 18 so I'd assume both Peter & John where born in Ireland and then moved to Middlesborough when his mother and father moved. I've reached out to the the Irish family history service -https://www.nli.ie/family-history/family-history-service for assistance on all the Irish records.

Is it this record you have received?
His probable death
Death Dec qtr 1933
O'Grady    John    age 57    Middlesbro'    9d   639

If so he was 57 not 18.

So which John is this certificate for?

Have you done any followup on the work that Rosie has done that seems to be pointing to a mary Clasby/Gillespie arther than a Mary Kearney or Webb as mother to John.

I'm confused!
