Lillian PAULL

I am trying to trace Lillian who was born in Yakandandah VICT. 1872 to James and Mary Paull. Folklore says she came to NZ possibly as a maid abut 1884 aged 12years.
She worked in either Beaths or Ballentynes department stores in Christchurch NZ prior to her marriage.
I have all the info I need from her marriage on, its only how and when did she get to NZ?
Any help gratefully received.

Hi,
Lillian's father James PAULL,died in 1883 (#11299/1883) so her mother, Mary nee BARKEL was widowed when the girl was about 11 years. Mary did not remarry and died at Beechworth

Her son Francis William and daughter in law lived there.

So if Lillian travelled away to New Zealand, it was not with her family.
Her sister Elizabeth Mary married and died in the same area.
