One Inconsistency

Hi everyone,
I am just looking at a branch of my family tree again more deeply and I have an inconsistency.
The family are Robert and Jane Jackson and their children.
In the 1841 Census the family seem to be
Robert born 1817 in Prestwich cum Oldham
Jane born 1817 in Oldham
John (Son) born 1839 in Oldham
James (Son) born in 1841 in Oldham
I cannot make out the address for the family in 1841 but by 1851 & again in 1861 the family are living at Red Lane Nook in Oldham.
In all the children seem to be:
John b.1839. James b.1841. Thomas b.1843. Mary b.1847. Sarah (my direct relative) b.1849. Jenny (Jinny) b.1851. Hannah (Anna) b.1856 & Mary Jane b.1859.
All are listed as being born in Oldham. I can find birth records for all with the mothers maiden name REEVES with the exception of JAMES.
I can find no James with this mothers maiden name so; does this mean that the mothers maiden name of REEVES is incorrect or could there be another explanation - other than the birth certificates I have no actual proof that the mothers maiden name is Reeves.
Thanks, Luke

1841 the address is Henshaw Street.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids. They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

If you have access to Ancestry the marriage record is on there. Jane has no father listed, which might imply she was illegitimate. But the only likely baptism I can find for her in Oldham is in 1818 to Benjamin and Mary.
