1682 Latin Probate for the Will of Francis Norwood
« on: Tuesday 01 April 25 11:54 BST (UK) »
Is it possible to have the following Latin probate checked?

For the most part, I think it's ok.
The last word of line 5 may be incorrect and the repeat of D(omi)ni in the line above.
The last line also has issues

Thanks Wayne

The last word of line 5 is gen(era)li [agrees with Vicario]

Domini D(omi)ni is correct. The middle section works like this:
… before the Worshipful Richard Parsons, Bachelor of Laws, Vicar-General in spiritual affairs of the Reverend Father and Lord in Christ, Lord Robert, by divine permission Bishop of Gloucester …

I think the last bit gives the date on which the inventory is required:
Fest(o) S(anc)t(i) Joh(ann)is Bapt(iste)
prox(imo) p(ro) In(ventario)

ADDED
I wouldn't trouble with case-endings for Gloucester. It's perfectly acceptable just to put Glouc'.
