Pipe Roll Hen II 1167
« on: Sunday 06 April 25 13:49 BST (UK) »
ROLL OF 13 HENRY II (1166-1167) Staffordshire
"Collection for a History of Staffordshire" Vol 1 Page 47"

In the above Pipe Roll there are multiple names with the following phrase / abbreviations  after each name, as with Robert of Great Pipe:

Magna Pipa Roberti r.c. de dim. m. In th'ro lib. E. Q. E
Any ideas what the "r.c."  and the "E. Q. E" may mean?
I have assumed that de dim. m. In th'ro lib. is "half a mark in the book" - presumably a fee or rent or similar.

Thankyou for that link - very useful.  Don't know why I didn't find it ages ago! :)
