Gibson family of Lambeth, Surrey

Daniel GIBSON (1790-1853) married Rebecca MARSH (1790-1849) on 7 Sep 1817 at St James Paddington, London.

They had six known children all born Lambeth, Surrey
Martha 1819-? married William BEARDMORE in 1838. He died 1848.
George 1820-1846 married Betsey Mercy GREGORY in 1844. Betsey married George WEST in 1847 and came to Australia in 1852.
Charles 1822-?
Rebecca 1823-1916 married John REMINGTON 1841 came to NZ in 1841.
Daniel 1829-1888 married Charlotte STURTRIDGE 1849 came to Australia c1852
Maria 1834-1915 came to Australia with Daniel, married 1853 to William WATSON, to NZ 1854.

Trying to find what happened to Martha and Charles. Just wondering that because all the others came down under that they may have as well.

Has anyone come across a Martha BEARDMORE nee GIBSON, or a Charles GIBSON anywhere in their research?

There is a burial of a Charles Gibson age 2 at St Mary's Lambeth on 28 December 1823.

of Clayton Street.

I can't find William or Martha Beardmore in 1841 or 1851.

His burial stated an address of 24 Caroline Street.  Do you have his death certificate to see if Martha
registered the death. It's possible they split up.

It appears they only had one child Elizabeth Rebecca Beardmore 1841 died 1842.

Yes Martha reported the death so she was still around in 1848. He died at 24 Caroline Street.

In your previous thread you discounted the death of Charles Gibson aged 2 in 1823. He was baptised in 1822 so he could have been BORN in 1821.. not unusual.
Also Martha was widowed with several chn. So with no apparent  income she would have most likely remarried.
