Trying to find information about Catherine Cameron MacQueen Dockery's (1823-1894) parents. They were Ewen Cameron and Catherine McPherson. Catherine came out to NZ with her daughter in 1840 on the Blenheim and was listed as age 45 and widowed. Her other children with her on the ship included Angus and Mary. From this, I assume Ewen died before 1840 but I can't find any death certs so I cannot determine his age. I found a marriage certificate for Ewen and Catherine from 1819 in Bracadale. Their daughter Catherine was born there as well.
I also can't find any of Catherine's as she died in NZ but I have no clue when. If anyone could find some information that would be great!
