Hi Mark... thanks for this. What has thrown me is that they were cousins, so I think I've also gone wrong somewhere on my family tree. If Ann and Edward were cousins, then their dads were brothers and they share the same parents? ...

Edward's father is Thomas Moore .. birthplace Rowington c. 1810... looking at Rowington PR, there's no baptism for a Thomas at that time, nearest I can find is baptism at Knowle 24 Apr 1810 (about 6 miles from Rowington).

Ann's father is Charles Moore.. birthplace Warwickshire (1841 census), assumed he was the baptism at Preston Bagot 17 Nov 1786. A 24 year age gap seems unlikely...

Raises more questions that answers.

I'm also starting to think Sarah Moore's death wasn't registered, as I can't find anything even remotely similar.

This looks like the Marriage Certificate:-

1865. Marriage solemnized at The Parish Church in the Parish of Leamington Priors in the County of Warwick.
October 24th 1865
Edward Moore, 28 years, Bachelor, Shoemaker, Residence, Clemens Street, Father: Thomas Moore, Labourer.
Ann Moore, 30 years, Spinster, - , Residence, Queen Street, Father: Charles Moore, Labourer.
After Banns.
Both signed
In the Presence of us, John Hob[ ? ] ; Sarah Ann Euston

Added a snippet regarding marriage.

Added witness signatures so that you can determine John Ho ...

I wonder if the witnesses were relatives?

Shrewley is between Claverdon and Hatton Warwickshire, fond memories of my motorcycling days all around there.

Claverdon is on the road about mid-way between Warwick and Henley in Arden.

Preston Green is between Henley in Arden and Claverdon and Preston Bagot, is near Preston Green.

Had a look at Thomas, Edward's father; from the births and checking GRO, MMN Joyner, have found

Thomas Moore married Elizabeth Joyner 20 Jul 1835 St. Martin, Birmingham
mar wits. Robert Powell, Elizabeth Joyner

1841 in Rowington

and a couple of doors above is a Sarah Moore, age 60 wid. crossed out in occupation col., with another Edward Moore; might be worth looking at this Moore family too.
