Good to see that you gave the response that Peter deserves Judy, I don't think people realise just how time consuming restoring old photographs to this high standard is. It's a good job we don't get paid to carry out the work, as the posters wouldn't be able to afford the hourly rate  :o ;D ;D

 ;D  You are right about that, Carol!

All you restorers on the board give your time and talents for free, something for which we less-talented people should be very grateful. You are all so generous with your time and skills - even more laudable when you are doing it for people that you don't even know.  :D

The photo restoration board is the first one I look at every day, and I would guess it is for a lot of other people too.  I love to see these old treasured photos brought back to life, and preserved for future generations.

I don't usually comment on the restoration of other people's photos, but I was so impressed by Peter's excellent version of this photo that I had to!  There were more versions after Peter, and they too were amazing.

Hope that you will be back restoring soon Carol; I miss seeing your lovely work.  :-*
