Stanley Victor SALES

I am trying to find the marriage of a Stanley Victor Sales born 12.3.1911 in Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire.  He died 23.9.1972 in Oaklands, Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

He married Nordise Alfrida born 18.10.1902 in Norway and died 7.10.1978 in Oaklands but was buried in Norway.  (This information I managed to get from my aunt but unfortunately she doesnt know when they were married). 

I am near enough positive that they were married in the Hertfordshire area.

They didnt have any children.

Can anyone help at all.

have you tried looking through 1837online?  the combination of surname and first name is quite unusual so you may get some luck there....

Yes I have looked on line but cannot find them.  Probably married just before 1837.

i think you need to check your dates - if they born in 1902 etc how were they married before 1837?

Oh sorry Sue, I have got myself muddled.  I was thinking about one thing and writing another!!!!!

Its an age thing I think!!!!
