Elementry School Teacher - Farnworth

::)I have a Minnie G E MYATT (listed as Wyatt) aged 20 in the 1901 census as a Elementry School Teacher in Farnworth.
1. How can I find out what school she taught at?
2. In those days how did one qualify as a teacher?
Thanks gemmac

Hi there
Think in those days you could still be a pupil teacher and progress from there.
Try posting your query on the occupation intests board and see what comes back...amazing the stuff people know!

They must be there-or I wouldn't be here!
