Can someone help me solve a bit of a mystery. I am trying to confirm whether or not Samuel Jackson is connected to my tree.
I have a copy of 'one' of his marriage certs which states his father is Thomas Jackson (Thatcher from Neithrop)
I have the Parish records on CD for Banbury and have found what I believe to be his baptism records, but there is some confusion over his father and every record I find gives a different year of birth ranging from 1825 to 1830!
He married at the Baptist chapel in Banbury which is not covered on my CD.
Does anyone have access to these records because I believe his first marriage took place there as well.
He would have married c1850 and I'm interested in any details from the records
Any help would be very much appreciated
