McAnulty

Looking for Patrick McAnulty, c1806. Unfortunately I don't know where in Ireland he was born, or when he left to settle in the UK. I do know that I have tracked from 1861 census onwards.  Any help would be much appreciated.

I can not help you with your question, but there are quite a lot of them in and around Warrenpoint, Co Down. They have a haulage business

There were 139 McAnultys (plus spelling variations) in Ireland during Griffiths Valuation of Ireland (1848-1864) http://scripts.ireland.com/ancestor/surname/index.cfm
McAnulty was a common surname at that time in Armagh, Donegal and Tyrone. I hope this information assists you with your search. http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php

Alf is right about there being lots of McAnulties around Warrenpoint. Here is a link to Ros Davies great site on County Down. As you will see, there also are several Patricks,not yours unfortunately.
