Boer War query
« on: Monday 26 September 05 16:29 BST (UK) »
Does anybody know if the Royal Scots were involved in the Boer War? In 1899 my 2xGt Grandfather James Pollock (b.1872) was a Lance Sergeant in the Royal Scots, but I haven't been able to find him in the 1901 census. I have found his wife and family, but he is missing. Is there anyway I can find out for definite if he fought in the Boer War?
